Khaled Tantawi

21 years old, so called weird, college student living in the busy city of Cairo, unable to comprehend life so I write, not that writing will make me understand things, but it’s just liberating so it enables me to see things from a different prespective.

I am a disappointed idealist, ie, cynical.  I don’t believe things right away, I question things and that’s, to me,  the whole point of knowledge.

I just really wish I would add up something to this life, doesn’t have to be a big thing, but just live life as of living life, not just an extension to the human species.

“I refuse to choose a road cause it enslaves me in a way, restricts my freedom, I choose to be in the crossroads, singing for liberty yet not living it” ~ Mostafa Mahmoud

I believe that your blog entry title ” Internal Dialogues” is really true. I have went through this and still do at times, believing my way is right, but then when I hear some one else’s point of view, I question myself if I am really right. The challenge is really believing in yourself and convincing yourself that your opinion stands and beliving in your own thoughts. At times if I try to accomplish something and it does not work as planned or I did not accompish what I wanted then I feel like giving up, but then I question if I should give up and try to accomplish what I gave up on. Living your life with so many voices, opinions, and viewpoints is complicated and questioning whether you should listen to your own thoughts and voice and you a person has to look at it and decide for themselves what is right for them. The blog entry was really interesting to read and from what I read it has taught me something, to listen to your self because nobody else can make lives decisions for you, but you.

Thanks Alexandra for taking your time and sharing your thoughts, I am glad you liked it. Some times we forget that the people we ask for directions/advice are just as human as we are, so yes, I agree with all what you said..
      Cheers from Egypt
